Lazlo reconnecting with Wat Si Muang Temple

Lazlo really enjoying time at Wat Si Muang temple, we used to visit this place daily some years ago. Unfortunately the sloths and howling monkeys have moved on.

Family Reunion

A very happy and emotional gathering. Lovely to see grandma and everybody else. Especially nice for Lazlo to connect with his roots.

In the lingdom of the ling

After a much needed sleep at our Bangkok hotel we headed off to Kamphengpet with Doug and Nee. Stopped off at a monkey temple to feed the Lazlo impersonators.

Khao No-Khao Kaeo (เขาหน่อ-เขาแก้ว) is a limestone mountain that has Wat Khao Lo at its foot. There are numerous monkeys at the foot of the mountain and you can see plenty of bats that live in the cave flying out to feed in the evening, making a long black line in the night sky.

Happy Bangkok birthday Lazlo

After a very long trip we are finally in Thailand. Lazlo is buzzing on his birthday. Well done boy for being so positive on the long haul. 7 years old today :-)

Helsinki

Well we made it to Finland on our initial flight, only another 12 hours to go. Lazlo found some interesting sculptures.

Take Off

Finally taking off, Finnair has the oldest cabin crew ever.

Much needed fuel-stop, Tah and Lazlo slept well on the bus, lucky souls. First stage done :-)

Lazlo's big adventure

4 am on the bus to the airport. 2.5 hrs to go and feeling excited. Really enjoying ourselves even though we're on the M4 and it's raining. Lots of lightning and the air feels much cooler, quite a relief. Going to get a lot hotter ;-)
